Hunker – P2

HUNKER provides a holistic venue for fathers to form a social environment, to unleash their full potential as fathers, whilst enriching their child’s development. Aiming to encourage language development in children through playing, creating, talking and active participation from fathers. A space for fun, to learn, to meet others, and be a family.
Neighbouring the scientific birthplace of Graphene, HUNKER acts as a material showcase of the Graphene-ceramics, a lightweight, and extremely strong material. A self-supporting structure, HUNKER is a scientific and engineering marvel.
Grab a bagel with a fellow dad, or snuggle up with a good book and welcome: to the Hunker family.

Nottingham Contemporary

Nottingham Contemporary welcomes the curious to explore the city’s latest adventure, a serendipitous cornucopia of curiosity.

Each one of us share an innate urge to explore, seated above the ancient caves of Nottingham, the regeneration of the Contemporary art centre sought to ignite that child like curiosity, to close the disconnect between the city, and the gallery

Splitting the building in three, to create a labyrinth walkway, that connected people to the gallery in innovative ways, the gallery was able to draw people to the centre of the building, without their realising.
