My work focuses on reconnecting people with nature by designing environmentally- and place-conscious structures that incorporate natural and site specific material. I draw inspiration from history, culture, and folklore as the foundation for my creations.

Death and Rebirth: Revitalizing the timber industry in Hackney as infrastructure for care.

This project stems from the exploration of the “Ash Grove” the site specific name.

Using cultural and historical context the site is formulated as a ‘memento mori’ for reducing taboos about death.

Collage using stamps of pre-existing elements from dismantling the building on site.

Along the Wall: A Dementia in Hackney

Opening conversations about dementia within Hackney by creating a single route through the site whilst removing stigma around dementia by creating a public realm and using the wall to create inclusion.

Research stems from explorations of tactility and board games as a catalyst for conversation.
