Putney, London, has a rich history of small music venues acting as springboards to aspiring musical artists; bouncing off this context, Putney Music House brings a 650 seat performance venue to the town. Unique to Putney Music house, the stage sits on a pool of water. This water sings and dances in harmony with the musicians, providing the visitors with a once in a lifetime experience.
In addition to this, Putney Music house contains community facilities including recording studios, practice rooms, and classrooms, in an aim to provide local residents with a space they can learn about and enjoy music.
This project dived into the forgotten history of motor manufacturers in Putney, London, creating a museum to celebrate the creations Putney brought to the industry. The structure uses a wooden frame, imitating a forest, to bring an element of biomimicry into the design, mirroring techniques used in the motor industry.
