As an aspiring architect, my work is driven by my curiosity about our diverse society and my passion for exploration and problem-solving. I strive to create innovative, functional, and aesthetically pleasing designs that push the boundaries of conventional architecture.
A gathering place for the Queer community driven by the theme of care, located next to the Ash Grove Bus Garage in Hackney, London. The site provides care by giving a place for people from the community to feel welcome, comfortable and proud.
A respite centre for people with dementia and their care workers, that is located next to Homerton Hospital in Hackney, London. Oma’s Haze provides a space for them to meet with their friends and cook together for the hospital staff. Its design concept is influenced by steam as a product of cooking and its connection to many senses, which can help one remember. This steam effect is created on site through water vapour, and would be activated when meals are ready to be served.
