Throughout my studies at Loughborough University, I have developed a profound interest in how the built environment affects the experiences and perceptions of minority communities, finding inspiration in addressing issues related to marginalised groups.
Warm Shores
The Warm Shores Dementia Respite Centre serves as a permanent acknowledgment of the Windrush generation and the Hackney community. It is designed to create a safe space centred around music and generational stories, offering consolation to a community that has, unfortunately, faced disappointment from the country on multiple occasions.
